Job Summary

The Associate Golf Professional will oversee the Golf Shop operations with gross annual sales of $650,000+. Passion with a focus on continuous improvement, and a drive to push our service standards to the next level, are the qualities we’re looking for. The goal of our club is to create outstanding memories for the members and this position will be a critical leader in achieving that goal.

• An amazing, infectious can-do attitude with impeccable attention to detail and service standards
• Fluency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) & knowledge in Jonas POS and Golf Genius considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Golf shop Retail Manager
• Assist with golf shop purchase plan, special orders and corporate sales
• Assist in the receipt, display, inventory control, promotion and sales of merchandise
• Assist with the development and implementation of our 2022 teaching and coaching program
• Provide excellent communication, customer service, professional advice and assistance to all guests
• Oversee the daily tee times, ensure guest check-in and golf cart fee collection and maintain the pace of play on the course
• Conduct and maintain a professional image and manner at all times
• Help organize and promote all club activities and services
• Assist with the co-ordination of Men’s, Ladies and Senior’s days

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years experience as an Assistant Professional with an amazing, infectious can-do attitude with impeccable attention to detail and service standards
• Fluency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) & knowledge in Jonas POS and Golf Genius considered an asset

Compensation

• Salary - Commensurate with experience and a comprehensive and attractive benefits package
