Muskoka Lakes Golf & C.C. is one of the premier private facilities in the Muskoka region of Ontario. We are currently accepting applications for an Assistant Professional for the upcoming season. Muskoka Lakes is an 18 –hole, par 70 golf course designed in 1920 by Stanley Thompson, and is a Club that fosters friendships and strong traditions as a multi-generation family Club.

Job Summary
  • Supervising a staff of approximately 15 during peak season
  • Playing golf with membership
  • Day to day pro shop operations including tee time reservations, merchandising, members’ financial transactions, point of sale
  • Organization of members’ events
Responsibilities
  • Private and group instruction
  • Junior Clinic instruction
  • Club fitting and repair
  • Inventory management
Qualifications
  • PGA of Canada Member in good standing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • High level of commitment
  • Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn all facets of the golf industry
  • Basic club repair skills
  • Private Club experience preferred, but not required
Compensation
  • Salary commensurate with experience
