We are seeking highly motivated full time, year-round, Club Merchandiser to join our team! As a member of the Westmount Team, the Club Merchandiser will ensure retailer and manufacturer sales goals are maximized through effective and strategic product placement while ensuring appropriate levels of stock are maintained at all times for golf, tennis, fitness and curling merchandise. This individual will further be responsible for constructing promotional and seasonal displays according to designated plans and guidelines and will ensure product placement is neat and correctly labelled for member and guest satisfaction. They will be responsible for all purchasing, receiving and inventory of golf, tennis, fitness and curling merchandise.

Duties would include but are not limited to the following:
• Ensure proper level of stock is maintained at all times for all sporting activities.
• Develop purchasing plan for merchandise
• Manage online store for all sporting activities
• Ensure merchandise is displayed appropriately and strategically with proper signage and shelf placement according to store and manufacturer standards.
• Build and maintain product displays in compliance with Club and manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist in developing product placement plans to aid members in locating required products.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with all team members.
• Maintain all merchandising standards while rotating products as required.
• Track store level inventory through product counts and other related functions.
• Complete all assigned merchandising functions accurately and within set timeframe.
• Price merchandise, and stock shelves and displays according to shelf plans.
• Provide professional and courteous assistance to members and guests as required.

Job Requirements:
• Post secondary education in merchandising, retail management, design, or other related field considered an asset.
• 3 years' experience in a retail environment.
• Advanced comprehension of industry practices and demonstrated ability to read floor plans and/or planograms.
• Experience with develop purchasing plan and inventory management.
• Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience building displays and using simple power tools considered an asset.
• Goal oriented.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Detail oriented and demonstrated creativity.
