Job Summary
Meadowbrook is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional, who will contribute to our customer-service based, family-friendly culture. An ideal candidate will bring a high level of enthusiasm and positivity, fresh and innovative ideas while working in a strong team environment. Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, the Assistant Professional will assume a leadership role within our golf services team and be involved in many aspects of our day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
  •  Retail sales and merchandising, inventory management, product knowledge, record keeping, and administrative duties
  •  Assist in execution of all club events, member leagues and corporate events
  •  Assist the Head Golf Professional with purchasing for the Professional Shop
  •  Attend the annual golf show and meet with sales representatives.
  •  Assist in hiring key personnel, as well as implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures
  •  Teaching, private lessons, and clinics
  •  Providing first class service to members and guests
Qualifications
  •  PGA of Canada member in good standing
  •  Proven excellence in member services, sales and organizational skills • Positive, professional attitude and a team player with strong interpersonal skills
  •  Knowledge of JONAS Point of sales system, Golf Genius will be considered an asset
Compensation
  •  Very competitive within the Greater Toronto Area market
  •  100% of lesson revenue
