We are looking for an energetic, passionate, and motivated Assistant Golf Professional who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the ongoing success of our Golf Operations Team. With a veteran team of Golf Professionals, we are on the hunt for energetic, motivated professional.
We seek to mentor and train a young professional who is eager to elevate themselves to the lead the industry forward in the years to come. Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, the Assistant Professional will be expected to play a key role in the day-to-day operations.
- Responsibilities
-
• Vital cog in the day-to-day operation of the club
• Club repair, re-gripping and fitting experience.
• Assisting with member tournaments and outside charity/corporate events.
• Assisting in the development of Deer Ridge’s junior instructional programs, alongside 2023 PGA of Canada HP Champion and nationally acclaimed Director of Instruction, James Skrypec
• Willingness to learn inventory controls/ event execution.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the outside operations team.
• Provide high level customer service daily.
• Be the beacon of Deer Ridge and represent the club on and off-site.
- Qualifications

• Member of the PGA of Canada in good standing preferred.
• PGM student or graduate of a PGM program is preferred.
• Outgoing, dynamic, proactive attitude.
• High comfort level in leadership a position.
• Willingness to exceed expectations.
• Organized and able to quickly adapt to fast-paced work environments.
• Experience with Jonas POS & Tee Sheet Software, Golf Genius Software and TrackMan is beneficial.
- Compensation
- $900-$1000 weekly, commensurate with experience
