- We are seeking Assistant Professionals who will embrace the Deer Ridge culture. We seek a service-driven individual, outgoing with a strong drive to elevate themselves to be an industry leader. The ideal candidate should possess a willingness to learn and a team-oriented mentality.
- Responsibilities
-
- The Assistant Golf Professional will report to the Director of Golf and will be a vital cog for the successful and efficient operation of the Golf Operations Department.
- Assist in the implementation and execution of daily services.
- Aid Golf Operations Staff, Starters, and Outside Golf Service members in the delivery and execution of the Deer Ridge service standard.
- Take a leading role in the communication, organization and execution of member events.
- Assist in the execution of member corporate as well as outside events.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures established by the Management Team.
- Devotes a reasonable amount of time to play golf with members of all skill levels.
- Maintains a visible presence within the Golf Operation.
- Strong knowledge in the use of Golf Genius, Jonas POS system.
- Represent the Club in PGA tournaments as required.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Qualifications

- Member of the PGA of Canada in good standing.
- Has a passion, intrinsic desire, and willingness to serve and lead. Dedicated to providing elite level service to members and their guests.
- An inspired individual who can work well within a group dynamic.
- Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Compensation
- Compensation is based on experience but will range up to $1000 weekly. Work will commence Mid-March and will conclude for the season at the end of November Staff gratuity bonus at years end
