The Mad River Golf Club is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professional to start in the spring of 2022.

- Job Summary
- Working with and reporting to the Head Golf Professional, the Assistant/Associate Golf Professional will be jointly responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Golf Operation. The successful candidate will be personable, professional, possess excellent communication skills, and will be member focused, committed and experienced in providing exceptional service.
- Responsibilities

- Provide consistently high level of customer service and assist with supervision of the Outside Service Team
- Lead by example, especially with Outside Service Team, and a team player always
- Friendly and approachable demeanour with colleagues, members and guests
- Experience with Jonas, notably inventory management, and Golf Genius Software an asset
- Assist in the coordination of all member events as well as weekly league play
- Merchandising of apparel, equipment, and related products
- Perform club fittings as well as minor club repair
- Conducting private lessons and assisting with the Junior Program, and Member Clinics & Camps
- Playing golf with members on a regular basis
- Assist in the day-to-day operation and other duties typically found in the Pro Shop
- Qualifications

- Member in good standing with the PGA of Canada
- Bring 1-3 years of experience
- Post-secondary degree or working towards PGM college diploma
- Knowledge of Jonas POS, Golf Genius & TrackMan is an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of club fitting, repair and equipment is an asset
- Merchandise & Retail experience is an asset

- Hourly wage / salary (commensurate with experience)
