Associate Professional
Glen Eagle Golf Club is an active 27-hole public course with a large practice facility located northwest of Toronto near Bolton Ontario. It has been in operation for almost 60 years and a favourite of the GTA public players.
Glen Eagle has traditionally been a busy tournament course. In 2020, due to social distancing requirements, the business changed to a strictly pay-as-you-play facility. It will continue to be a pay-as-you-play facility in 2021.

- Job Summary
- Glen Eagle Golf Club is seeking an energetic and creative Associate Professional to become part of its golf operation team for 2021 season. This position commences immediately until November 30, 2021. There exists the potential that this position will become permanent for 2022 and beyond.
- Responsibilities
-
- Assist in the day-to-day golf operations including management and direction of the golf operations team
- Play a key role in training, coaching and guidance of golf ops staff
- Strong focus on customer experience before, during, and after play
- Promote a safe workplace and lead by example
- Assist with tee sheet management
- Participation in crossover responsibilities as needed with the Clubhouse and Grounds teams
Forecasted Responsibilities in 2022
- Assist in merchandising and inventory management of the golf pro shop space
- Support and participate in teaching lessons
- Play a key role in coordination of tournaments, Men's and Ladies’ leagues
- Re-launch and oversee a robust Junior Camp program
- Qualifications

- A member of the PGA of Canada in good standing
- 2-3 years experience in a busy public golf course setting
- Strong focus on the customer experience and eager to innovate
- Friendly personality with a drive to collaborate and work as part of a team
- Flexible work schedule based on course needs
- Experience at a 27-hole facility an asset
- Experience with Tee On software an asset
- Exceptionally skilled and familiar with MS Office suite notably Word and Excel
- Compensation

- Compensation will reflect the high end of industry pay for comparable jobs and experience.
