Opening in 1962, Royal Ashburn is a semi-private club and one of the premiere golf courses in Ontario. Offering an 18-hole championship golf course, full practice facilities including 400 yard driving range, grass tee decks, practice bunkers and perhaps the largest practice putting & chipping green in Ontario, Royal Ashburn provides a huge opportunity to develop a highly sought after professional Golf Academy.
In addition to the golf course, the club offers a 20,000 + square foot clubhouse with two banquet rooms, restaurant (Butler’s Pub & Grill), men’s and ladies locker facilities and cabins for stay & play packages.
Located in North Whitby, our community and the Durham Region is one of the fastest growing communities in the GTA. Our local community of Brooklin (less than 5 minutes away) is projected to grow to over 34,000 by 2030, representing an increase of approximately 35% and all surrounding communities are rapidly expanding.
Our goal is to expand our established club fitting services and create one of the top tier teaching and club fitting facilities in Ontario. With over 750 members who call Royal Ashburn their home course, we’re looking for a motivated and ambitious PGA of Canada member to successfully continue to grow and develop the academy.

- We are looking for an ambitious PGA of Canada Member with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for teaching, coaching and club fitting. With the direction and assistance from Royal Ashburn Golf Club, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their own academy and directly benefit from the proceeds of their efforts.
- Responsibilities

- Working with Royal Ashburn management to continue the develop of an Academy at Royal Ashburn Golf Club
- Adult clinics
- Junior clinics & camps
- Club fitting and club sales
- Assisting with development of business plan, marketing & promotion
- Represent and enhance the reputation and Royal Ashburn brand
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada Member in good standing
- Teaching and coaching certification
- Passion for teaching
- Ambitious and motivated
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen
- Team leader
- Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented.
- Compensation

- No ceiling on compensation. The successful candidate will directly benefit from their efforts and ability to promote and grow the academy at Royal Ashburn.
