- Job Summary
- The Director of Instruction will oversee a high-quality Golf Academy and develop all golf services in a lively, unique sports and entertainment complex. The person will instruct Topgolf Guests in golf skills in individual lessons or in groups, manage Topgolf leagues, tournaments, and player development series.
- Responsibilities

- Coordinate, schedule and maintain Guest lessons and golf enquiries
- Engage with individual and events Guests by providing golf tips, including walking the tee line on all levels (when not engaged in golf instruction)
- Management of putting course operations, international schools programs, local golf course partner program, national professional/amateur governing body relationships, direct leagues, tournaments, player development series and summer camps
- Train lead instructors on golf instruction at Topgolf and best practices
- Utilize swing analysis technology and learning theories, and integrate teaching aids in all programs
- Grow the golf services platform and related budgets at your venue, through marketing and community outreach and promoting lessons at events
- Manage and implement ideas for player development series at venue level
- Manage club fitting, club repair and general maintenance of equipment, including inventory
- Qualifications

- Exceptional coaching ability to interact with and develop golf instructors
- At minimum three years’ experience teaching golf lessons to different levels of golfers, including oversight of other golf instructors
- Experience with using swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology
- A demonstrated track record of success as a touring professional and/or PGA Membership
- Social and interpersonal skills to interact with all Topgolf Guests
- Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
- Energetic team player with a high level of self-awareness and integrity
- Conversational in English (must-have); conversational in other languages skills, such as Thai, Japanese, Korean (nice-to-have)
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
