- Job Summary
- We are looking for an ambitious PGA of Canada member in good standing with an ambitious personality and passion for teaching, coaching and growing the game of golf. With the direction and assistance from Oshawa Golf & Curling Club, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their own academy and financially benefit from their dedication to the position.
- Responsibilities

- Develop and oversee all golf academy programs, clinics, playing and private lessons
- Provide insight into teaching philosophy with assistant professionals
- Create and organize junior clinics & camps
- Maintain the training centre environment, equipment and technology.
- Assisting with development of business plan, marketing & promotion
- Oversee and develop winter program. Provide data and progress of students
- Qualifications
-
- PGA of Canada Member in good standing and a Class “A” professional status.
- Specialization in Teaching and/or Coaching strongly preferred.
- Proficient with golf technology.
- Approachable, educated and supportive of their students.
- Strong communications skills.
- Desire to go above and beyond expectations.
- Custom club fitting experience is considered an asset.
