PGA of Canada releases Strategic Plan to guide operations over the next five years

After careful consideration, reviewing the membership survey and working closely with the nine Zone offices across the country to pinpoint member needs, the PGA of Canada is excited to release the strategic plan that will guide all operations of the association. The plan was created by an advisory group and vetted through leadership stakeholders over the past 10 months.    As leaders in Canadian golf, we recognize the importance in adapting to meet the ever-changing needs of our members and the global golf industry. With consultation from Sheffe Consulting, the association has prepared the framework for the direction we will be moving towards for the 2022-2026 term.  To view the Strategic Plan, Click Here.  "Representing our 3,700 members, it is our number-one priority to ensure the work we do, from a zone level, from a national level and from an executive level, serves them as we continue our work as leaders in the golf industry," said PGA of Canada President Teejay Alderdice. "I am proud to be a PGA of Canada member myself, and I hope that members throughout the country who read this strategic plan see that we have taken their feedback into account when making our strategic decisions."  The included plan outlines the association's mission, vision and values, detailing what the organization looks to achieve and the methods it will use to achieve them. There was a significant amount of research put into the creation of this report, as we relied heavily on member feedback from the satisfaction survey, branding research done by Perennial and input from leaders from all Zones across the country.  "Our promise is that we will continue to innovate, promote a culture of excellence and inclusivity, and provide world-class education to members looking to grow their careers within the golf industry," continued Alderdice.  The PGA of Canada National Staff and Board of Directors have committed to implementing this plan immediately through operational and governance plans and will share ongoing updates with membership throughout the next five years.  If you have any questions regarding the attached strategic plan, please reach out to PGA of Canada Chief Innovation Officer Matt Allen at Matt@PGAofCanada.com.  To view the Strategic Plan, Click Here.
