PGA of Ontario Remembers Class "A" Life Professional - Ron Bileski (1943-2021)

We are saddened to hear of the passing of PGA of Ontario, Class "A" Life Professional - Mr. Ron Bileski.

Ron joined the PGA of Canada in the Manitoba Zone in 1968 and quickly became the Head Golf Professional at Rainy Lake Golf Club in Fort Frances, Ontario.

In 1970 he played Florida Mini Tours when he was approached by David Zink and other Canadian professional golfers to join a new Canadian Tour and travelled across Canada starting up the new Canadian Tour along with Moe Norman.

Ron held various golf club positions throughout Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario including Pinawa GC, Swan River GC, Kitchen Creek GC, Assiniboine GC and was the Head Professional and part owner of Exeter GC in the late 1980s.

In Ron's later years he operated and coordinated many junior programs and camps at several different locations in Ontario.

Our thoughts are with his family and we know he will be missed by many PGA of Ontario members and friends.
