It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kerri Lynn Slaughter, at the age of 54, on February 15, 2026. Kerri died peacefully surrounded by family after a brief but courageous battle.

Kerri is survived by her parents, John and Jill Slaughter (Chatham, Ontario), brother Andy (Danielle), nephew, Lukas, and niece, Mackenzie. She will be lovingly missed by her extended family, her small but extremely tight group of friends, and many others whom she touched over the years.

Kerri had a passion for golf and people. After attending the College of Charleston on a golf scholarship, she spent most of her adult life in the professional golf business, including, but not limited to stints at Lambton Golf and Country Club and Islington Golf and Country Club in Toronto. For the past 8 years she has been an integral member of the teaching and professional team at St. Catharines Golf and Country Club where she took a particular interest in teaching junior golfers. She will be missed by many at the club, which was her "community."

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration will be announced later.

The family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff of doctors, nurses, and all others at the Marotta Family Hospital, especially on the third floor, who showed the utmost kindness and devotion to care during this most difficult time.

If desired, donations in Kerri's name can be made to the First Tee Program of Canada or the Rankin Cancer Run of Niagara.
