It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we share the passing of Patrick (Pat) Bruder on Monday, January 5th, at the age of 58, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. A proud father to Benjamin and Daniel, Pat was a cherished husband to Kathy, with whom he shared 28 beautiful years of marriage.

Pat is survived by his siblings Anne John) Dykstra, John Bruder, Paul Bruder (Barbara), Robert Bruder (Stephanie), and Pauline Bruder (Tom). He was loved by his many nieces and nephews. Pat will be missed by Kathy's family, his father-in-law David Simmers, brother-in-law Tony (Meredith) Simmers, and sisters-in-law Ngaire (Steve) Mallon and Eleanor (Jim) Simmers. Pat was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Eileen Bruder.

As a dedicated golf professional at Burlington Golf and Country Club for the last 33 years, Pat was known for his great sense of humour and his witty personality, bringing joy to everyone around him. An avid Montreal Canadiens fan, he faithfully followed the team, sharing his enthusiasm with family and friends during every game. He had a passion for cooking and cherished the time spent with his family, creating memories that will last forever.

He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

A memorial service has been held for family and close friends.

If desired, memorial contributions to The Canadian Red Cross would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
