The previous night also featured the BMW M Night Golf Shootout, with teams putting their skills to the test under the lights at The Nest.
Jennifer Shilson from Rochester Place Golf Club came through when it mattered most, hitting her shot to just four feet in the playoff before calmly rolling in the putt to win Cabot gift cards for her team.
With the first round in the books, the teams now turn their attention to Cabot Cliffs for Round 2.
Players could be in for quite a different experience at Cliffs, with the forecast calling for rain and gusty conditions.
