Club Professional of the Year
The PGA of Ontario Club Professional of the Year Award is intended to celebrate a working professional who wholeheartedly embraces the multifaceted responsibilities of a club professional. This prestigious accolade is reserved for a club professional whose tireless dedication and contributions to the game epitomize the essence of a complete PGA of Ontario Professional at the club level.
CLUB PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR AWARD GUIDELINES:
- Demonstration of outstanding qualities of leadership
- Demonstration of outstanding management skills
- Maintains a substantial record of service to the Association and the game of golf
- Well-regarded as a role model to other PGA of Ontario Professionals
CLUB PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR AWARD CRITERIA:
Criteria to Measure
- Overall performance as a Club Professional
- Service to the Zone and the Association
- Leadership ability
- Image and ability to inspire fellow Club Professionals
- Promotion and growth of the game of golf
Selection Process
- The nomination should be based on a nominee's entire past experience as a Club Professional
- Achievements during the past year should be emphasized
- The PGA of Ontario Awards Committee will select a recipient based on the criteria
Eligible Categories
- Eligible Class "A" Membership Categories: Head Professional, Director of Golf**, Manager of Golf Operations**, Pro-Manager**, and Director of Operations** in good standing
- **Apprentice Professionals will not be eligible
- **To be eligible for the Club Professional of the Year Award, the nominee must be responsible for the management and oversight of the Golf Operations at their facility. Professionals whose responsibilities extend beyond Golf Operations to include the overall management of the facility—including areas such as Food & Beverage, Course Maintenance, and Administration—should be nominated for the Executive Professional of the Year Award
NOTE:
All nominees MUST have a current Police Record Check (within the last three years) through ISB Global (OneBadge). If you completed the Police Record Check with ISB Global as part of the OneBadge process within the last three years, no further action is required.
Please note: Results of the Police Record Checks are sent to Darcy Kral, the PGA of Canada's Privacy Officer, who will confirm receipt with the PGA of Ontario.

Steps to log into your ISB Global Services (One Badge) account with the PGA of Canada:
1. Go to https://cp.dashboard.isbordercenter.com/login
2. Enter your username and password.
- Username: Your name, for example, JohnDoe
- Password: whatever you changed it to
- A 6-digit code will be emailed to your email address on your PGA account. Enter this code to log in.
- Forgot your password? You can reset it at https://cp.dashboard.isbordercenter.com/forgot-password
3. Click on My Tasks
4. Under Mobile Identity Box - Complete your Police Record Check with oneBADGEsport using your phone. Use the photo app to access the link from the QR Code and complete the check itself on your phone.
* It could take up to 3 business days to obtain the results.
