Ben Van Deurzen
About
Ben is the son of Frank and Marlene Van Deurzen. He grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta, where he enjoyed playing all sports especially golf.
Ben joined the PGA of Canada in 2009 and became a class “A” member in 2013. In 2020, he completed his 14th season as an Associate Golf Professional at Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club. The things Ben enjoys most about the game and business of golf are the opportunity to meet new people every day from all over the world, working in a beautiful environment, helping students improve their golf games, and of course, playing golf!
Ben has a great wife Livia and three young kids. Two boys, Samuel (6) and Thomas (4), and a girl Joanna (1). He enjoys taking the boys out to play golf during the summer and loves to travel with his family. They enjoy living in Canmore, which they now call home.
