Travis Glass
About
Travis Glass is the Head Teaching Professional at Eagle Valley Golf Course and Golf Academy and the Head Coach of both the Brock University Men’s and Women’s Varsity Golf Teams. A graduate of the Golf Management program at Keiser University in Port St. Lucie, Florida, Travis returned home to Niagara in 2012 and became a PGA of Canada Class A Professional in 2019.
Travis is a recognized leader in player development and junior golf. In 2022, he received Junior Leader of the Year honours from both the PGA of Ontario and the PGA of Canada, earning the national Jack McLaughlin Award. He was also named a U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Coach in both 2023 and 2025.
With more than 11,000 golf lessons delivered, Travis specializes in coaching golfers of all ages and abilities, from beginners to elite junior competitors, collegiate athletes, and professionals. He oversees the daily operation of Eagle Valley Golf Academy, offering year-round instruction and programs supported by state-of-the-art TrackMan technology. His coaching philosophy focuses on understanding each individual, establishing clear goals, and creating a personalized roadmap for improvement.
Travis has played a significant role in growing junior golf in Canada. In 2012, he was part of the original team that introduced U.S. Kids Golf to Canada through the Niagara Local Tour and Canadian Invitational. Now in its 14th year, the U.S. Kids Golf Niagara Tour attracts more than 100 players per event and has introduced thousands of young golfers to competitive golf. As Tour Director, Travis remains committed to creating positive experiences and development opportunities for junior golfers.
Each summer, Travis also travels to Pinehurst, North Carolina, to work at the U.S. Kids Golf World Championships, helping support an international field of more than 1,600 young competitors. Through his coaching, leadership, and dedication to the game, Travis continues to make a lasting impact on golfers and the golf community at the local, provincial, and national levels.
