It wasn't until 2022 that I ever had the interest to become a golf professional. I've been playing golf all my life, ever since my Grandfather took me out to the local course at Green Acres Golf Club just outside of Base Borden in Barrie, ON. It's where I fell in love with the game and begged my parents to sign me up for our local Junior Golf Program and attend Golf Camps in the summer growing up. I always had a deep passion for golf but as high school and University came around, it fell to the wayside.
The Pandemic changed everything, if affected everyone in every industry and I was no exception. We had the opportunity to open Par 94 Bar and Golf Lounge in 2021 and haven't looked back since.
In 2022, I decided to fully take the leap into the golf industry and commence the process of becoming a fully certified PGA of Canada Professional.
2023 and 2024 had me working under the very talented and respected leadership group at Fredericton Golf Club. Learning first hand from Alan Howie, Ryan Kingston, and Chris Billings was an opportunity I will not soon forget. I helped in coordinating a very successful Junior Program for those two years and started to develop my teaching capabilities.
In 2025 I made the move to Head of Instruction at Carman Creek Golf Course, where I was able to implement many of the things I learned from FGC. I was responsible for all aspects of our instruction and coaching programs which included Junior Camps, Private & Semi Private Lessons, Clinics, and on-course instruction.
