It is with great honour that I put my name forward to be considered for the election to the Board of Directors for the PGA of Canada BC Representative. I joined the PGA of Canada in 1987 and I am currently Associate Professional at The Vancouver Golf Club, in Coquitlam, BC. Over the course of 33 years I have grown my professional skills as well have become a well-rounded and accomplished individual within the golf industry. I successfully obtained my Class “A” status in 1995 during my employment at Seymour Creek Golf Center in North Vancouver.
By being on the Board of Directors in the PGA of BC in 2006 and 2007, it has given me the experience to continue to work on the associations board in various roles. I want to seek election on the PGA of Canada Board to share my experience and give back to the association.
These are exciting times in our association as the golf business is constantly evolving, which allows us to grow and gain experience as Golf Professionals. By being a member of the PGA of BC, it has allowed me to create lifelong professional relationships. With the encouragement and collaboration that I have gained with my fellow professionals, is what allows the PGA of BC to be a great association.
