Entering the day four-strokes off the lead, Dennis Hendershott knew that it was going to take something special in order to raise the Albert Murray trophy at the end of the PGA Seniors’ Championship of Canada late on Friday.

David Wood had a weekend many golfers dream of. The avid Calgarian spent Friday to Monday on the course with two of his close friends and a cousin. The group of four weren’t just golfing for the love of the game, but in an attempt to earn a spot in a RBC PGA Scramble Regional Final.

Wednesday has every opportunity to be a final round for the ages at the PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf, as 11 players find themselves within three strokes of the lead with 18 holes to play at The Winston Golf Club.

We are deeply saddened to announce the recent passing of former PGA of Alberta President and PGA of Canada member Kevin Vincent Hunter. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario on November 10th at the age of 70.

The PGA of Canada announced today that the RBC PGA Scramble has added Golf Canada as the Official Handicap Partner of the program, welcoming the national governing body’s involvement throughout the local and regional qualifying stages and leading into the National Championship at Cabot Cape Breton.
