2024 COACH OF THE YEAR - Get to know Chris Dickenson, Director of Instruction at The Ontario Golf Academy (OGA) at Whistle Bear Golf Club. Pinegrove Country Club is difficult. So difficult, in fact, that the course-record of 64 has held up since Tommy Aaron shot the number on his way to a 1969 Canadian Open victory. The winning score at the 103rd PGA Championship of Canada – 15-under - came as a shock to many. But for those who witnessed Craig Stefureak plot his way around the course the past three days, the score sounds about right.

Jumping out of the gate with five birdies in his first seven holes on Wednesday morning, Craig Stefureak, a teaching professional at The Bunker in Ottawa, ON, backed up a first-round 67 with a 66 to take a two-stroke lead into the final round of the PGA Championship of Canada.

Without a blemish on his card, Chris Vandette fired an opening-round 65, which included five birdies in his final eight holes, at Pinegrove Country Club to take a two-stroke lead of the 103rd PGA Championship of Canada.
The PGA of Canada’s flagship event is back for its 103rd edition this week, with Pinegrove Club de Golf providing the backdrop for 119 of the top professional golfers in the country.
