We are saddened to share the passing of PGA of Ontario Life Professional, Mr. George Hillebrecht (1933-2025).

The PGA of Ontario is pleased to announce that three incredibly deserving professionals are being inducted into the PGA of Ontario Hall of Fame Class of 2025. arry Allard, Ian Clarke, and Bill Wogden will be honoured and inducted at the PGA of Ontario Year-End Celebration on the evening of Thursday, October 30th at Glen Abbey Golf Club.

Ashleigh Shadagopal picked up golf during COVID because of the mandate that players could only play with members of the same household. She didn’t want her husband to have to play alone.

The second round of the RBC PGA Scramble presented by BMW National Final featured the best conditions in the 10-year history of the program. You couldn’t find a cloud in the sky as temperatures topped 26-degrees, without even a breath of wind at Cabot Cape Breton on Monday.

The first round of the 10th edition of the RBC PGA Scramble presented by BMW National Final at Cabot Cape Breton saw the squad from The Nest at Friday Harbour, led by PGA of Canada Professional - and 2021 PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada winner Branson Ferrier - pull ahead by just .1 of a stroke on Sunday on Cabot Links.

The wait is over; the energy is building. The 10th edition of the RBC PGA Scramble presented by BMW National Final has officially arrived at Cabot Cape Breton, and 21 teams from across the country are ready to chase glory on one of the most breathtaking stages in golf.

Craig Stefureak and Mitch Fox provide similar accounts when asked about their upbringing. “The golf course was my babysitter,” said Fox. “There are videos of me at three years old, hitting balls on the driving range,” said Stefureak. Both PGA of Canada members mention how Indigenous culture is intertwined with sports. Stefureak came from a family of hockey players; his father played professionally in Europe, while Fox’s dad, Andrew, is a Class "A” PGA of Canada professional.

When Team British Columbia captured gold at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John’s, NL, it was a moment of pride not only for the athletes, but also for the PGA of Canada coaches and managers guiding them from behind the ropes - for British Columbia, it was coach Conner Kozak.
