"Optimizing Performance" will deliver a powerful day of learning focused on the mental game, efficient motion, and real-world coaching strategies that drive better performance. Attendees will benefit from engaging sessions led by renowned keynote speakers.
Dr. Rick Sessinghaus, renowned peak performance coach and longtime coach to major champion Collin Morikawa, will open the day by revealing how FlowCode helps students move from fear to flow through focus, confidence, and emotional regulation. His interactive session equips golf professionals with practical tools to integrate mental game training directly into student development.
The day will shift to the physical side of performance with Brian Manzella, one of the world's premier golf instructors, who bridges timeless golf wisdom with today’s most advanced science. Through cutting-edge data and historic swing models, Brian delivers actionable insights that blend proven principles with modern technology — all in his signature engaging, humorous, and highly interactive style. Brian is a sought-after speaker who makes complex swing concepts engaging and applicable.
The afternoon features a highly dynamic and thought-provoking panel facilitated by Doug Lawrie, featuring Mike Martz, Salimah Mussani, and Tristan Mullally. This panel will explore how experienced coaches and national leaders identify potential, build effective development plans, and guide players through key stages of growth. Dr. Rick Sessinghaus is a peak performance coach specializing in bringing Flow States to individuals and teams. Rick is the long-time coach for two-time major winner Collin Morikawa on the PGA Tour and was named Top 50 golf instructor in America by Golf Digest and Top 100 Instructor by Golf Magazine. Rick authored the book, Golf: The Ultimate Mind Game and co-founded FlowCode. Long intrigued by the fact that physical skills were rarely the determining factor in athletic success, Rick studied the mental and emotional skills that make or break a performance. FlowCode is a proven system that can raise an individual's level of performance to tap into focus, motivation, confidence, and emotional regulation. Rick earned his Doctorate in Applied Sports Psychology and is ready to share his insights into how you and your students can elevate performance through Flow. |

Based at his Studio in the Sky in New Orleans and English Turn Golf & Country Club, he delivers science-based, artfully communicated instruction that blends cutting-edge technology—like TrackMan mastery and Jacobs 3D—with practical, player-friendly fixes for golfers of all levels. A long-time PGA member and multiple award winner, Brian was at the forefront of bridging academic swing research with real-world teaching after achieving the highest certification in The Golfing Machine. As Director of Instruction for Jacobs 3D, and through his innovative Manzella Certified Instructor Program, he has trained top professionals worldwide, elevating instruction standards globally. He has spoken on golf science in dozens of states and countries, authored numerous articles, and appeared on major podcasts and Sirius XM. Mike Martz is a highly respected PGA of Canada professional with over 40 years of coaching experience and a strong foundation in human movement through his degree in Kinesiology. A Teaching Professional at the Ontario Golf Academy at Whistle Bear, he is the 2025 PGA of Canada and PGA of Ontario Teacher of the Year and a former University of Waterloo Men’s Golf Team Head Coach. Known for his inclusive, development-focused approach, Mike is widely respected for his leadership in coach development and performance-focused instruction. |

Salimah Mussani was born and raised in Burlington, Ontario, and brings extensive experience as both a high-performance athlete and coach. A former professional golfer, she competed in the U.S. Open and recorded 11 professional victories internationally. Salimah is a graduate of Stanford University, where she later served as an assistant coach, gaining exposure to elite collegiate and player development systems. She is currently in her fourth year as Head Coach of the Team Canada Women’s Program. Salimah is known for her evidence-based, athlete-centered approach and her passion for helping players become better humans by building better habits. |

| Tristan Mullally is the National Head of Talent Identification for Golf Canada, focusing on national junior and coach development. Originally from Ireland and now based in Dundas, Ontario, Tristan has coached multiple major champions and winners of professional events worldwide. He served as Canada’s Head Coach at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and coached multiple Pan American Games and World Championships, earning international medals. A student of the game and former competitor on the Irish and Swedish Professional Tours, he has also served as a club professional at world-class venues including Royal Portrush Golf Club. Tristan was the recipient of the 2015 PGA of Canada Ben Kern Coach of the Year Award and the 2025 PGA of Canada Professional Development Award. |

Doug Lawrie, a nationally recognized PGA professional for over 30 years, the 2012 PGA of Canada Junior Leader of the Year & 2022 PGA of Canada Coach of the year. Doug has developed the Focus Golf Group (FGG) Academy into one of the most successful player development programs in Canada. Constantly evolving and living by his motto; "Better Never Stops", Doug works tirelessly to ensure each athlete is given the opportunity to chase their dreams in golf. Utilizing his FGG specific Roadmap building techniques and evaluation, Coach Doug shows each player their own path and how to navigate the ups and downs, curves and lines to accomplish each of their goals. |
REGISTRATION FEE SCHEDULE
- The registration deadline is Wednesday February 4, 2026, at 11:59 PM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). Entries will not be accepted without full payment of the entry fee.
- All attendees must register individually. Applications can be submitted through your online member account by using the official application form available at www.pgaofontario.com.
- The application fee, as outlined in the fee schedule below, must be submitted along with applicable taxes. Please note that all entry fees are subject to HST (HST# R106865660).
- The PGA of Ontario accepts the following payment methods: VISA, VISA DEBIT, and MASTERCARD.

PGA of Ontario members will be given priority access to register until Friday, January 30th, 2026. After that date, registration will open up to non-members and students on a first-come, first-served basis. CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
A refund will be issued if the PGA of Ontario is advised at least 10 business days before the event.
A refund will NOT be issued if an attendee cancels within 10 business days in advance of the event unless a replacement is secured to fill the spot at least three business days in advance of the event.
In this case:

The cancelling registrant must notify the PGA of Ontario office at least three business days before the event.

If the PGA of Ontario maintains a waitlist for the event, members on the waitlist will be given the first opportunity to fill the available spot.

If the PGA of Ontario does not have a waitlist, the cancelling registrant will be asked to provide the name and contact information of a potential replacement.

A refund will be granted to the cancelling registrant once the replacement registrant has paid their entry fee.

If a registrant cancels within three business days of the event, the PGA of Ontario reserves the right to deny a refund. We will make every effort to assist the cancelling registrant in finding a replacement, but we cannot guarantee that the spot will be filled.
