It was a jammed-packed week at the PGA of Ontario!  Our first stop? Up the street from our home base at Angus Glen to Upper Unionville Golf Club for the 2021 edition of the Senior Pro / Junior Pro Team Series.

We are saddened to share the passing of PGA of Ontario Class "A" Head Professional, Mr. Sam Young (1941-2024).

For most of five decades, Joe Robinson has been synonymous with golf in Cape Breton. Having caddied in a group with Gene Sarazen, set course records, and welcomed tens of thousands to Canada’s friendliest island, Robinson remains Cape Breton’s golf ambassador.

The PGA of Canada Women’s Cup team comprised of Emma de Groot, Caroline Ciot, Katy Rutherford, Casey Ward and Christine Wong put up a valiant effort at the 2024 PGA Women’s Cup, placing second out of six teams at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Oregon.

Together with the PGA of Canada, Golf Canada is excited to announce the nine individuals named as inaugural participants in the 2021 Women in Coaching program.
