The PGA of Ontario was at Glencairn Golf Club this week for the 2020 Fall Scramble.

Being employed as a Golf Professional in Canada can be a challenge, due to a shortened season from April to November.Building your career in Collingwood, a small town north of Toronto with a population of just over 20,000 can be an even bigger one, with fewer opportunities year-round.

An exciting PGA of Ontario tournament season came to a close with the Fall Scramble at Woodington Lake Golf Club. On a crisp fall morning with temperatures below zero degree celcius, the event started with a one hour frost delay but once the sun came came out, the play warmed up.

Established in 1929, this 18-hole Championship golf course has consistently been regarded as one of the premier courses in the Niagara Region.
