Given ongoing restrictions and uncertainty related to COVID-19, the PGA of Canada has cancelled the 2020 PGA Seniors’ Championship of Canada, originally scheduled for Aug. 4-7 at Le Parcours du Vieux Village in Bromont, Que.

August 13, 2020 The PGA of Ontario Championship presented by TaylorMade & adidas is the longest running tournament in the history of the Ontario Zone.

The PGA of Canada and its partners now look to 2021 to deliver an exceptional experience for members at the 99th-playing of the historic national championship. 

The decision was made in consultation with playing members and partners and comes as a result of ongoing domestic and international restrictions on travel, as well as safety concerns caused by the pandemic.

“He pours his heart and soul into everything he does,” says Jaime Steedman. “When I saw this opportunity arise to shine a little spotlight on the incredible things he’s been doing I just thought it would be a perfect opportunity for someone like him to get the recognition and acknowledgement for everything he does.”
