Celebrations of the Evening

The G.A.L.A. proudly celebrates the individuals and achievements that continue to shape the PGA of Ontario and the game of golf across the province year after year. From welcoming new members and recognizing award recipients, to honouring Hall of Fame inductees, Professional Recognition Program honourees, and our members celebrating 25- and 50-year milestones, the evening reflects the leadership, dedication, and excellence that define our Association and its community.

 

Zone Awards

The PGA of Ontario Awards Program celebrates members who demonstrate excellence, leadership, and impact within the golf industry and the Association. Award categories include Apprentice Professional of the Year, Assistant Professional of the Year, Club Professional of the Year, Executive Professional of the Year, Coach of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Junior Leader of the Year, Retailer of the Year, and a Professional Development Award. Finalists are announced publicly, while award recipients are revealed live during The GALA.

Players of the Year

Annually, the PGA of Ontario honours and celebrates Players of the Year across four categories; Breenie Cup Player of the Year, Women’s Player of the Year, Senior Player of the Year, and Apprentice Player of the Year.
