Touring professionals rarely contemplate their retirement plans. As many will tell you, if you’re on the road going from tournament to tournament thinking about your next job, you’re probably not going to perform very well in your current one. Jennifer Greggain was no different.

The PGA of Canada is pleased to announce a renewed and enhanced national partnership with Golf Avenue, the Quebec-based global retail trade-in giant.

Now general manager at Credit Valley, he made a big impression as head golf pro at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club.

On Friday morning, ORORO PGA Women’s Championship of Canada at Bromont co-leaders Sarah-Eve Rhéaume, a 22-year-old amateur from Quebec City, and Min-G Kim, an Epson Tour veteran with nearly $120,000 in career earnings, battled back-and-forth with hopes of lifting the Lorie Kane trophy and assuring themselves a spot in August’s CP Women’s Open.

Mike Johnston doesn’t get to visit with Cabot founder Ben Cowan-Dewar as much these days, but when Cowan-Dewar was spending plenty more time in Cape Breton, there was a prominent poster with his favourite business philosophy hanging in his office.

He didn’t quite have his best stuff Wednesday at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, but Quebec’s Yohann Benson held on to his lead heading into tomorrow’s final round of the PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf.
