The PGA of Ontario is pleased to announce our renewed partnership with GOLFTEC. This year they transition their support to become presenting sponsor of the Ontario Zone Championship which returns to Barrie Country Club on July 11th and 12th.

The PGA of Canada and PGA of New Zealand started the Four Nation’s Cup strong at The Pulpit Club on Wednesday, with Canada claiming 3.5 of a possible 6 ‘game points’ vs. New Zealand, and South Africa winning 5 of a possible 6 ‘game points’ vs. Australia to win their opening matches.

Throughout the day at St. Eugene Golf Resort in Cranbrook, B.C., birdies were flying, but late round charges from Gord Burns and Dillon Batsel catapulted the Ontario and Alberta pros up the leaderboard. Burns fired a bogey-free 8-under 64 to take a one-shot lead over Batsel after the opening round of the PGA Championship of Canada presented by Tapinn.
