Thank you to those that competed in the Head Pro/Assistant Pro Team Series at Whistle Bear Golf Club. We had a total of 45 teams compete in the event and for the third straight season, the team of Brad Kerfoot and Michael Moniz from Maple Downs Golf and Country Club came out on top carding 8-under 63 for the victory.

Maggie was the wife of 43-year PGA of Canada member Bob Beauchemin. Bob was the commissioner of the Canadian Tour (now PGA Tour Americas) from 1985 to 1997 and helped elevate the Tour from pro-am events to recognized full-field 72-hole events across Canada. He’s now the Head Teaching Professional at Oakdale Golf and CC.

Emma de Groot’s interest in golf started with the cart. While she would hit a few shots when her family played few holes, it was driving the cart and the post-round milkshake that first drove her passion. 

The PGA of Ontario Award Program recognizes outstanding members for their achievements throughout the season and their career, as well as for their contributions to the Association and their impact on the game of Golf.

George Spare, of Riverview, passed away at the Albert House Hospice SENB on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Born in Westmount, Quebec, he was the son of the late Frederick and Pauline (Bernier) Spare

CHANGES TO ON Reg. 63/09 – Removal of Public Meeting Component In such unprecedented times as these, it is nice to be able to deliver some good news. The required public meeting component has been removed from O. Reg. 63/09.

This significant contribution from Lightspeed aims to support the PGA of Canada Foundation Benevolent Fund in continuing to provide temporary assistance to past and present PGA of Canada members and apprentice members who find themselves in financial hardship.

This year's championship features a 50,000 USD purse and an exemption into the PGA TOUR's Bermuda Championship for the overall winner.
