The PGA of Canada is pleased to announce the national championship schedule for the 2023 season

Tom Hanley died October 29, 2021 at 2 pm ATL time. Tom was instrumental in the integration of the PGA of Canada’s TCCP education program with the Coaching Association of Canada’s NCCP beginning in 2005.

Two-time champion Wes Heffernan stole the show Tuesday at Bayview Golf & Country Club, carding a bogey-free 5-under 66 to take a three-shot lead after the opening round of the PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf.

The 59-year-old from Victoria began his campaign for a sixth PGA Seniors’ Championship of Canada title with a bogey-free opening-round 6-under-par 65 at Carleton Golf and Yacht Club in Ottawa.

The Warren Crosbie Community Leader of the Year Award, introduced in 2020 and named after PGA of Canada Past President and Life Member Warren Crosbie, is presented annually to a member of the association who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and gone above and beyond to make a meaningful and lasting impact within their community
