The little town of Carman, Manitoba may only have a population of 3,000 - but five of its residents helped put it very squarely on Canada’s golfing map after the team from Carman Golf & Curling Club captured the 2019 RBC PGA Scramble.

The PGA of Canada has announced a new three-year title-sponsorship agreement with Canadian sports betting and e-gaming entity BetRegal, which will begin immediately as BetRegal puts their stamp on the BetRegal PGA Championship of Canada presented by TaylorMade Golf & adidas Golf, scheduled for August 3 - 7 in Bromont, Quebec.

Rebecca Lee-Bentham posted a final round 9-under-par 63—both a new course record at Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto and personal best—to come from behind and claim the title by four-shots over last year’s winner Jessica Porvasnik.

On Friday morning, ORORO PGA Women’s Championship of Canada at Bromont co-leaders Sarah-Eve Rhéaume, a 22-year-old amateur from Quebec City, and Min-G Kim, an Epson Tour veteran with nearly $120,000 in career earnings, battled back-and-forth with hopes of lifting the Lorie Kane trophy and assuring themselves a spot in August’s CP Women’s Open.

Current facilities and those registering between now and the end-of-the-month to host a Local Qualifier this summer will be entered to win one of three signed RBC Canadian Open pin flags from Dustin Johnson, Adam Hadwin and Matt Kuchar.
